It’s been a while since we’ve seen a new Scary Movie, but the franchise is back with Scary Movie 4. This time around, the target is clearly aimed at Saw and other recent horror hits. The movie follows Cindy (Anna Faris) as she tries to solve a series of murders that seem to be connected to her husband (Craig Bierko). Along the way, she teams up with her neighbor Brenda (Regina Hall), and the two of them take on some crazy characters played by an all-star cast including Leslie Nielsen, Charlie Sheen, Dr. Phil, and Shaquille O’Neal.
Scary Movie 4 is definitely not for everyone. It’s full of gross-out humor and over-the-top gags that will have you cringing more often than laughing.
