Dracula has enslaved most of the villagers in order to build an army with which he intends to take over the world but when they discover his true identity they turn against him. After defeating Dracula’s minions including Frankenstein’s monster and Mr Hyde, van Helsing finally confronts Dracula himself but not before Velkan sacrifices himself to save Anna. She then gives van Helsing a magic stake which kills Dracula just as dawn breaks. With no one left to revive him, Dracula disintegrates into dust and finally dies. In a post-credits scene it is revealed that Mr Hyde has survived his fall and escaped back into London where he resumes terrorizing its citizens
